A little shop in Market Street, Clifden, owned and operated by Eileen and Leo Halliday, and stacked full of mostly Irish products that are often difficult to locate or find elsewhere.

The Connemara Hamper carries a wide range of Irish farmhouse cheeses, Connemara smoked salmon, hand-made chocolates from Mayo, locally-made jams and marmalades, delicious gateaux from 'Goyas of Galway' and a range of Connemara handmade baskets.

There is a wide choice of patés, salamis, Parma and home-baked hams, and wonderful selections of olives, caperberries, and sun-dried tomatoes, all of which can be used to make a 'brown bag' lunch to your personal choice. Illy coffee is also available to take away.

There is a selection of French, Spanish and Italian organic wines, and organic fruit/vegetables in season, as well as a wide range of dried goods.

The Connemara Hamper has received many accolades and is listed in the latest copy of The Bridgestone Irish Food Guide. Mail order service available within Ireland/EU. Open Monday - Saturday, 10:00am to 17:30pm.
